Dogman Saves The Day

My finished, yet-to-be-published novel #1.

SYNOPSIS:
One weekend in the intersecting lives of three people. John, husband and father, who wakes up from the slumber that is his life to realize that he is sick and tired of the mediocrity and the monotony of the world we live in, who begins searching for honesty and purity and an escape from our mass-media culture, and who is living in denial of his struggling marriage (which probably has more to do with his current state of mind than he’s willing to admit). Nicole, his sixteen year old daughter, who is stuck in a relationship with a boy who repeatedly treats her badly, who seems destined to fall into the same pattern of bad relationships that plague the adults in her life, but who holds on to her boyfriend anyway, seeking the love and attention her parents, caught up in their own lives, have neglected to give her over the years. Anna, a single mother, who can’t seem to find Mr. Right, and who is trying to recover from the disintegration of her latest relationship (which happens to have been with John’s brother). She meets John for the first time and the two of them hit it off, perhaps a bit too well.

Three people struggling to find happiness. Three days to see if they can.

S-Club 7

My pretty-much-finished, yet-to-be-published novel #2.

SYNOPSIS:
A fictitious story based on a real-life episode—a group of teenagers suddenly find themselves the focus of a national news story after their secret sex club becomes not so secret. A telling of the events that led up to their moment in the spotlight and the aftermath that unfolded as told by one of the participants, S-Club 7 is a tale of innocence lost, of the personal and social ramifications of teen sex and a look at the questionable ethics of the news media as they pounce upon the story with little regard for the consequences of their coverage. Mike Comet, the narrator, is a typical American teenager with involved parents, good grades and a close group of good friends. He’s got a secret crush, hopes for a great year in school, and the usual amount of 16-year-old insecurities. By midway through his junior year at Warren G. Harding High School, Mike also has a very unusual, active sex life, the attention of the entire school and much of the American public and an inability to turn back the calendar and start over again.

Wendel & Vilnardo

In fact, Wendel has over 100 jobs—everything from pizza-maker to town stenographer to deliveryworm.
